So I’ve heard a lot of talk on talkbass about Sadowsky Basses and, I don’t quite understand the hype, I’ve picked up quite a few Sadowsky Basses, mainly Metros, and they just seemed ok at best. Ernie Ball’s are very well made. The VP jr 250k is a standard passive pedal where the MVP offers a boost of 20db which is geared more for guitars and costs a hundred more. Here's a few shots of my Mourdian CS-74. I've been looking for one of these for many years and here it is! It's all original except for the pickups. Jim Mouradian installed these EMG's a few years back and much prefers them to the original Bardens. The appointments on this instrument are great and the amount of production relic is spot on. I play a ‘71 Hagstrom H1B which is short scale. One single, fairly hot pickup and a set of flat wounds.

The neck is about as svelte as a baseball bat and the 100% genuine ebonized fingerboard is pitiful. The finish flakes off for no apparant reason and the end pin is so poor it feels like the thing is mounted on a swivel. He has been told that to get this thing in decent shape would require $6-700 minimum.Dec 28, 2006 · Electrical tape and duct tape work well for bunching them together while blending in with the board; duct tape is far stronger, though. Gives a bit brighter highs. If the bass is defretted you must fill the fret slots and sand level before applying epoxy. It's not easy to get a professional looking job but it can be done.
