2024 Amiibo not working botw

BOTW mini amiibo cards not working . I just today got the cards and none of them are working. They were bought on Amazon and I have reset my console and they still don’t work. I have tried on both my pro controller and joy cons and neither are scanning. Pls help. Cat gets microwaved
