The Northville Placid Trail has over 40 Lean-To shelters along the route, providing numerous options for camping. It's typical for hikers to spend one to two weeks thru hiking the entire trail. The 12 Day itinerary calls for a moderate pace of hiking up to 15 miles, about 8 hours per day with a 25-40 lb. backpack.
