It has an auto locking feature as ...BF I have the Craftsman Jack and mine started to bleed down the 2nd or 3rd year. The owners handbook says to change the hydraulic oil every year. I have never done that in any bottle jacks I own but bought some oil. The oil change stopped the bleed-down.
