That said, I've only tried with mouse, and there was a bug a few experimentals ago that made adding to exosuit tech difficult. I'll grab another bulkhead and experiment a little. Depends on the mode you're playing in. In Survival, basic slots hold 250 / 5 , and cargo hold 500 / 10. ( the split being materials and stackable items ) in Normal, basic slots hold up to 10k, but still only 5 items. Not sure if cargo doubles the mats to 20k, but still maintains the 10 count on stackables.You can. I found a cargo bulkhead upgrade for my freighter. I thought cool I'll go upgrade my freighter inventory. The bulkhead was in my exosuit inventory. I went to the upgrade terminal and 1 cargo bulkhead let me fully upgraded both my general and technology freight inventories. I doubt you are supposed to be able to do that.
