There's a fairly convincing theory that the hostile witch outside the BoC, the corpse beside Ceasless and Quelana are all the same person. Particularly, the robes' descriptions implies that only Quelana wore them. Bed of chaos is without a doubt the worst moment in the entire game. There is however a very cheesy trick can do to avoid having to deal with the worst of this fight. The game reloads you at the fog gate with the first thingy already destroyed.
