Really agree so far. DS1 is one of my favourite games ever and that's because all of the game's system's tie so well together, combat, Estus, the world, the atmosphere, everything. Sekiro is a very directed experience. You have one weapon, a crafted main character and the gameplay is very focused on 1v1 sword play, rocking back and forth between attacking and parrying\blocking.SEKIJO (ONE-ARMED MONKEY) THE SCULPTURE WAS AN ACTUAL MONKEY. When you give the sculptor* booze, he says he saved Emma and gave her a rice ball but could not care for her so he passed her onto Dogen and he seems upset when telling the story of his decisions.
