I know that the program is really hard to get into and it had a 1.7% acceptance rate but UCI has been my dream school for years and I was wondering what my chances are. Weighted: 3.8. Irvine's got almost a 30% Fed Clerkship rate, which is tied with Stanford and is better than Harvard (just behind Y by not many points). UCI is more research-intensive though so it might be easier to get research internships in the summer and during the rest of the school year while you take classes. But Cal Poly obviously has more lab courses which also goves you an edge.
