2024 Jd 530 baler specs

The 5530 and 530 are basically the same baler. The twine arm and knife are different, as well as how the gathering wheels attach. Both of these items were improved on the 530. Seems to be a pretty good baler but I can't get a tight bale out of it. I picked up a owners manual and parts book from the local deere dealer and can't really find anything other .... The 605F bale was made from 1978-1982. Most of the JD 530 production started late 1986 and kicked off in 1987. If you wanted to compare balers of the same time period you would need to look at the Vermeer 605J baler. Make sure item 31 is adjusted correctly and working the twine arm directional valve .
