SMSc is closer to $200, but all plastic. Holosun 507k: almost $300, really wide almost useless rear sight, side drawer for battery, circle-dot reticle.Little rear notch which is just high enough to use as backup irons on the P365 series (mine is the old style where the rear irons come off to mount an optic). I’ve had all 4. Zero, elite, 507k, now eps carry. Zero is dogshit, and it doesn’t even belong in this conversation. Elite is serviceable if it’s all you had.The Shield RMSc also has a side draw for the battery. Only the Romeo Zero has to be removed to install the battery. Yet the RMSc lacks waterproof, durability and reliability, so there is that. The Zero appears to lack all those things and the side load battery. The Holosun will be the first micro RDS that doesn't suck.I have the Holosun 407K on my P365X. I went with the 407K because I have older eyes and the 6 MOA dot was better for me then the 507K with the 2MOA dot and a 32 MOA circle. The Holosun has a metal housing with a glass lens. Also you don't have to remove the red dot to replace the battery. The Romeo Zero has a plastic housing with a plastic lens.IMHO, the Romeo Zero's need to be removed to simply change a battery, was a bad design choice. It is the reason I bought a Holosun 507k instead of buying an XL with the Romeo installed. I have heard that some (many?) owners of the Zero, have successfully removed and replaced it, without any loss of adjustment.Sep 23, 2022 · In this video, Chandler goes through an unboxing and install of the replacement optic for his P365: a Holosun 407K Green Dot. Install Spacer at the front or rear of the optic recess in the slide per the table. 3. Place the optic tight against your spacer and ensure screws are aligned over the holes in the slide. The Hellcat uses the RMSc footprint which has four posts, the Holosun 407k/507k sights have no holes for rear posts but have two holes for front posts. The holes for the front posts are shallower and require front posts of the same diameter and location but they have to be shorter.20 Sep 2022 ... It utilizes Holosun's “K” footprint, which it shares with the Shield RMSc and Sig Romeo Zero. ... Holosun 507k? I am a new gun owner. Thank you ...Like the title says I think it’s about time to upgrade to the 507k on my p365xl. The Romeo zero has been great but honestly the side battery tray on the holosun is worth the upgrade alone in my opinion. My question is I’ve noticed that amazon has them in stock for the same price as other shops. Is it safe to buy from amazon. I went with the Holosun 507K because it has the shake awake feature, 3 different reticles, a 2 MOA dot, battery tray is on the side (you don't have to remove it to replace the battery), and the housing is aluminum instead of polymer unlike most other red dots in the micro size. I have a Holosun on my AR and it's been great so I trust the brand.Considering getting the Holosun 507k but trying to get better with iron sights first. Aug 28, 2022 #6 blume357 Hawkeye. On the P365XL you lose the rear sight for the optic so having this feature would be nice. Auto Adjust- This feature works just as well as it does on my Trijicon RMR 06 type 2.
